I was scrolling through my photos and started laughing because my wardrobe really tells the story of my life. It is always changing and it always matches whatever season I am in. One minute I am in streetwear. Then I am leaning into a darker edgy look. Then I am back in my preppy business casual era. My style really moves with me.
Right now my closet is heavily influenced by work. Cardigans, slacks, work shoes. Very much giving I have emails to answer and meetings to attend. But what is funny is I never get rid of my old clothes. Ever. Because I already know at some point I am going to circle back to those looks. Not because I am stuck but because every version of me still belongs.
Fashion really does come full circle just like we do. You evolve but you do not disappear. The style changes but the confidence stays the same.
So now I am curious. Do you let your style evolve with your life or do you hold onto your clothes knowing your moment will come back around.
